The TROMPE L’OEIL line is produced together with Gioia Puccioni.
Gioia is a frescoes decorator and restorer operating mostly in Florence.
The decorations she forwards on tissues
is a synthesis of that studying and working path she started in 1992 at the school of restoration and conservation of paintings on canvas and wood and frescoes.
The same path she kept walking by working directly on restoring sites and workshops.
There she learnt the arts of gilding, silvering and decorating on furnishings. Nowadays she uses her knowledge and skills working on frescoes restorations and decorations, often in collaboration with interior designers and artisan firms.
Gioia’s intention behind this project is – getting inspired from the restoration of walls and ceilings of historical buildings and villas – to take few decorative elements and transfer them on textile in a sober and personal way.
This way, together with SO, she creates a collection composed of unique pieces, all hand painted
